MBKM Program – Certification Scheme for English Courses (UWI1A2)’
Especially for students who will take the English Language Course (UWI1A2) in the Even Semester of the 2021/2022 Academic Year.
The English Course (UWI1A2) with the topic Global Career Readliness is aimed at improving students’ English speaking skills with an intermediate-High level of fluency in accordance with the criteria published by the ACTFL Performance Indicator for Language Learners. Students who have English speaking skills equivalent to Intermediate-High level or above, can get a final grade of A, AB, or B in English courses without having to take class sessions during the even semester of 2021/2022. To take part in this program, students must submit proof of English speaking proficiency in the form of a valid certificate from an official English proficiency test such as ECCT, IELTS, or TOEIC for the score equalization process.
The following are important dates regarding the MBKM English Program:
- IELTS or TOEIC certificate collection deadline: 31 December 2021 (21.00 WIB)
- ECCT Registration at Telkom University Language Center: December 9 – 31, 2021
- Value Conversion Result: January 3, 2022
- Confirmation by Student of Grade Conversion Result: 3 – 14 January 2022

If a student does not have an IELTS or TOEIC certificate, but wants to join this program, please register for the ECCT (English Communicative Competence Test) test organized by the Language Center of Telkom University.
